Cuba

Bursting with colourful colonial buildings, classic cars and sugar-white beaches, Cuba is the cultural hot spot of the Caribbean.

Like all of the Caribbean islands, Cuba’s main draw is its beaches. There are over 430 beaches around the island, allowing visitors to enjoy a classic beach experience or explore some more unusual spots.

Holidaymakers love to relax on the palm-lined sugar-white sands, paddle in the turquoise blue sea or go snorkelling or scuba diving to experience the exotic marine life and colourful coral reefs.

The capital city of Havana is a must-see with its famous Plaza de la Revolución, home of the iconic Che Guevra mural and where Fidel Castro made speeches during his presidency.

The Catedral de San Cristóbal, made from coral stone, dominates the city skyline, while the streets are brimming with colourful colonial buildings and row upon row of 1950s vintage cars painted in vibrant colours.

For the all-inclusive Cuban break, Varadero is the place to go with its 13-mile long beach, pristine golf courses and some of the most outstanding five-star resorts in the Caribbean.

Cuba is an island filled with live music, you will find small bands playing in the cafes, bars and parks throughout the day. In the evenings, you’ll find more bands and a host of entertainers in the dozens of rum bars and the 1940s and 50s style nightclubs, where visitors can enjoy daiquiris and mojitos and salsa the night away.
