Introducing Christina Heywood

Hi, my name is Christina Heywood.

I have recently passed my HNC travel at James Watt College. I came in to Thorne Travel last year to see if I could gain some experience in the travel industry while at college I was then kept on full time over the summer. I’m going on to do my HND travel after the summer as well as working at Thorne Travel, I have loved working here and have gained a huge amount of experience and met some great people.

I have travelled to mainland Spain, The Balearics, France and Canada. I really enjoyed Canada I visited Niagara falls, Toronto, London and Port Elgin which were all very different but great.

This year I am going to Ibiza in August I’m staying at the Ibiza Rocks hotel in San Antonio Bay. I have been to other young and lively destinations such as Magaluf but Ibiza being one of the top party destinations I think this will give me a great knowledge to pass on to my customers.

I also work part time in Thorne Travel Events as an assistant wedding planner which i have found to be very interesting and enjoyable.
