Introducing Christopher Chard

My name is Christopher chard, and i am the original Saturday boy at Thorne travel.  My career within Travel has spanded over 8 years, as i used to work for Thomson holidays overseas operations and had the opportunity to live in some wonderful places and travel quite bit  of the world.  This was a fabulous way of seeing all the many wonderful destinations around the globe.  So i am quite knowledgeable about a lot of destinations especially family places as my main work  overseas was in family hotels.  I hold my level 2 and 3 nvq in travel services.

 

I have a great passion for travel, especially cruising as this is a wonderful way to see a lot of destinations in one holiday without the need to be on coaches half the time.  Plus the cruising lifestyle is just fab, they look after you so well and take care of every finer detail.  So if you haven’t cruised before why not have a look at our large range of cruise brochures.

 

I have a great passion for supporting your local community as i work and live in Kilwinning. and feel that Thorne Travel has done wonders to the town and bringing the high street face to face custom back at an excellent standard thats why i am proud to work for and be apart of the team.

 

I am also the official tour guide for Thorne Travel, taking customers on days out on the coaches all over the UK.  I think sometimes we forget how beautiful our own country is and i absolutely love taking the coach tours out and about.
